Lord, You are our God. You made usStained glass window depiction of Jesus; we are the sheep of Your pasture. I enter into Your gates with thanksgiving, and into Your courts with praise. I am thankful unto You, and bless Your name.

Lord, You are good; Your mercy is everlasting; and Your truth endures to all generations – that includes my children and grandchildren and future generations. I go forth this day rejoicing with a joyous spirit and a glad heart in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For Israel

Israeli flag Father, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Thank You for bringing the people of Israel into unity with each other and for bringing Your Church into oneness – one new man.

I thank You for the peace treaties with Israel’s former enemies, and ask You to give them wisdom as they work out present peace treaties. Use these pacts for good to make way for the good news of the Gospel as we prepare for the coming of our Messiah. In Jesus Name, Amen

Pray for Jerusalem’s peace!
Prosperity to all you Jerusalem-lovers!
Friendly insiders, get along!
Hostile outsiders, keep your distance!
For the sake of my family and friends,
I say it again: live in peace!
For the sake of the house of our God, God,
I’ll do my very best for you.

Psalm 122:6-9 [MSG]

The Messiah has made things up between us so that we’re now together on this, both non-Jewish outsiders and Jewish insiders. He tore down the wall we used to keep each other at a distance. He repealed the law code that had become so clogged with fine print and footnotes that it hindered more than it helped. Then he started over. Instead of continuing with two groups of people separated by centuries of animosity and suspicion, he created a new kind of human being, a fresh start for everybody.

Ephesians 2:14-15 [MSG]

For the United States of America

American FlagHeavenly Father, thank You for the United States of America, which was founded upon religious freedom and Your Word. Thank You for the founding fathers, Lord, who looked to You for guidance to develop the kind of government that would be pleasing to You. Our president and his advisers need Your wisdom to safeguard freedom.

By wisdom You laid the earth’s foundations, and by understanding You set the heavens in place. I pray that these leaders will turn their ears to wisdom and apply their hearts to understanding. May the light of Your word run swiftly and prevail throughout the USA, and Your love burn brightly in this land. Give us a rebirth of freedom, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Making your ear attentive to skillful and godly Wisdom and inclining and directing your heart and mind to understanding [applying all your powers to the quest for it];The Lord by skillful and godly Wisdom has founded the earth; by understanding He has established the heavens.

Proverbs 2:2; 3:19 [AMP]

Now Stephen, full of grace (divine blessing and favor) and power (strength and ability) worked great wonders and signs (miracles) among the people. But the Word of the Lord [concerning the attainment through Christ of salvation in the kingdom of God] continued to grow and spread.

And so the Word of the Lord [concerning eternal salvation through Christ] scattered and spread throughout the whole region.

Thus the Word of the Lord [concerning the attainment through Christ of eternal salvation in the kingdom of God] grew and spread and intensified, prevailing mightily.

Acts 6:8; 12:24; 13:49; 19:20 [AMP]

For Family

Father, I place my family—my parents, spouse, children and grandchildren—into Your keeping, knowing that You are able to keep that which I commit to You against that day. Thank You for the angels You have commanded concerning my family to guard us in all our ways. The angels will lift us up in their hands so that we will not strike our foot against a stone. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Build a canopy of prayerful praise over your spouse, children and grandchildren…your loved ones each morning before the day begins. God is watching over His word to perform it.

Father, it is into Your keeping that I place my family—my parents, spouse, children and grandchildren—knowing that You are able to keep that which I commit to You against that day. Thank you for the angels that You’ve commanded to guard my family and me so that we will not strike our foot against a stone. Thank You for Your faithfulness. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

And this is why I am suffering as I do. Still I am not ashamed, for I know (perceive, have knowledge of, and am acquainted with) Him Whom I have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on), and I am [positively] persuaded that He is able to guard and keep that which has been entrusted to me and which I have committed [to Him] until that day.

2 Timothy 1:12 [AMP]

For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

Psalm 91:11-12 [AMP]

For the Economy

Pile of American twenty dollar bills Regardless of what experts say about the current economic situation, I have good news for you. As a child of God, your blessings this year are not dependent on the ebb and flow of the stock market. You can expect good things to happen to you this year because God’s Word declares it: “You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance!”

The key to experiencing the blessings lies in Psalm 65:11 itself—”Your paths drip with abundance”. In order to see His paths dripping with abundance, you would need to follow Him, wouldn’t you? So to experience the Lord’s goodness and abundance this year, keep listening to and beholding His grace and finished work. It’s easy to follow His leading when you are tuned to and meditating on His grace. And when you tread where He treads, you will run right into the blessings that He has already prepared for you!

You crown the year with your bounty;
your wagon tracks overflow with abundance.

Psalm 65:11 [ESV]

Heavenly Father, because you have turned my captivity and have done great things for me, my mouth is filled with laughter and my tongue with singing. Joy floods my being, and rejoicing covers my lips! The dark clouds of oppression are replaced with your goodness and its beauty, Father. The cheerfulness of my heart is as medicine to my spirit, soul and body. It is well with me because I am yours and you are mine. Your banner over me is love. In the name of Jesus, I rejoice. Amen.

He will yet fill your mouth with laughter [Job] and your lips with joyful shouting.

Job 8:21 [AMP]

Then God will come into view,
his arrows flashing like lightning!
Master God will blast his trumpet
and set out in a whirlwind.
God-of-the-Angel-Armies will protect them—
all-out war,
The war to end all wars,
no holds barred.
Their God will save the day. He’ll rescue them.
They’ll become like sheep, gentle and soft,
Or like gemstones in a crown,
catching all the colors of the sun.
Then how they’ll shine! shimmer! glow!
the young men robust, the young women lovely!

Zechariah 9:14-17 [MSG]

A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.

Proverbs 17:22 [AMP]

I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine;
he grazes among the lilies.

Song of Solomon 6:3 [ESV]

For Our Salvation

Kneeling at the Foot of the CrossLet’s take a moment to reflect on the finished work of Jesus.

At the cross, Jesus gave of Himself completely and made a provision for the forgiveness of our sins that no one else could. He chose to lay down His life in exchange for ours. All our sins, failures and mistakes are forever washed away by the precious blood shed at Calvary! Truly, in Christ we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, “according to the riches of His grace.”

The Lord’s grace toward you is bountiful and rich. Today, receive His grace, His forgiveness, His love and His mercy in a fresh and powerful way. It is not material wealth that makes you rich. It is having Jesus—your greatest wealth!

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

Father, I thank You for salvation. By grace I have been saved through faith…it is the gift of God. Sin shall no longer be my master, because I am under grace. Your grace is sufficient for me—for every situation that I face today—for Your strength is made perfect in weakness . From the fullness of Your grace we have all received one blessing after another in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God

Ephesians 2:8 [AMP]

14For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

Slaves to Righteousness

15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means!

Romans 6:14-15 [NIV]

But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!

2 Corinthians 12:9 [AMP]

Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.

John 1:16 [NIV]
