Our sister Judy Ann teaches us about the blessing and favor of the Lord…

Blessing and Favor

by Judy Ann

For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor).

Psalm 5:12 [AMP]

The favor of God is like a shield around you today. It not only promotes you and causes doors of opportunities to swing open for you, it also protects you and keeps you from undesirable relationships and circumstances in your life. So if certain things don’t seem to be going the way you expected, take heart and believe that God’s favor is at work in your life, drawing all the good to you and keeping the bad away!

Need an abundant supply?
by Judy Ann

When Jesus died on the cross, He unleashed all the blessings of God into our lives. And God’s blessings have been flowing from His throne to us ever since. They are ever flowing. The only way they can be stopped is when we worry. That’s why God specifically tells us to cast our cares on Him.

You see, when you worry about a particular area of your life, you constrict God’s supply into that area. Now, God is still supplying the blessing, but it is not coming through because your worrying is constricting the “supply pipe”! You may pray, “Oh God, why aren’t You supplying me in this area of my life?” God says, “I am supplying. If you will let go, you’ll let My supply flow into that area.”

What are you worried about today? Not having enough for your daily provision? A painful symptom in your body? A mistake you made? Look, see the Father’s heart and love for you as He invites you to simply cast all your cares on Him. His Word tells you that He cares for you “affectionately” and “watchfully”. This means that nothing escapes His notice when it comes to your needs. So rest knowing that He will give you His best, and let His abundant supply provide for every breakthrough you need!

Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.

1 Peter 5:7 [AMP]

by Judy Ann

To eat what is good and delight your soul in abundance, listen to the Word of the Lord. If you desire to walk out of lack and walk into divine provision, keep listening to the preaching of the good news of Jesus’ finished work. Keep hearing all that He has done for you to inherit all of God’s goodness and abundance. Faith will come to deliver you out of chronic illnesses, fears, debt and depression, into divine health, wisdom, provision, fruitfulness and joy!

2Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Hearken diligently to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness [the profuseness of spiritual joy].3Incline your ear [submit and consent to the divine will] and come to Me; hear, and your soul will revive; and I will make an everlasting covenant or league with you, even the sure mercy (kindness, goodwill, and compassion) promised to David.

Isaiah 55:2–3 [AMP]

He Will Supply
by Judy Ann

Facing a lack in any area of your life today? Your heavenly Father knows all about it and He is more than willing to provide for you because He loves you. In fact, He has already provided you all things in Jesus! Take heart and do not worry!

When you give your weaknesses to the Lord, He supplies His perfect strength. He will cause His glory, His grace and His wisdom to manifest mightily in that very area of weakness!

31Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear?32For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all.

Matthew 6:31–32 [AMP]

But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!

2 Corinthians 12:9 [AMP]

Need Promotion?
by Judy Ann

Heavenly Father, according to your Word promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. God, you are the judge: you put down one person, and set up another. I’m content to be myself so that I will become more than myself. I choose being humble and reverent toward you, Lord, and you will make me both wise and honored in the name of Jesus. I write mercy and truth upon the tablets of my heart, and you cause me to find favor with God and with man. Thank you for my promotion that comes from the north at your bidding that I might fulfill my destiny. Amen.

6For not from the east nor from the west nor from the south come promotion and lifting up.7But God is the Judge! He puts down one and lifts up another.

Psalm 75:6-7 [AMP]

“When you’re invited to dinner, go and sit at the last place. Then when the host comes he may very well say, ‘Friend, come up to the front.’ That will give the dinner guests something to talk about! What I’m saying is, If you walk around with your nose in the air, you’re going to end up flat on your face. But if you’re content to be simply yourself, you will become more than yourself.”

Luke 14:10-11 [MSG]

Fear of the Lord teaches wisdom;
—-humility precedes honor.

Proverbs 15:33 [NLT]

God’s Plan
by Judy Ann

Jesus is Lord, and everything is all right! Your plan is to prosper me and not to harm me. Your plan is to give me hope and a future. Thank you for listening to me when I call upon you, when I am praying to you. I love you because you first loved me. And I know that in all things, Father-God you work for my good because I choose to love you. I have been called according to your purpose. Even in the face of adversity I declare, “All is well.” Amen

The Holy Man, spotting her while she was still a long way off, said to his servant Gehazi, “Look out there; why, it’s the Shunammite woman! Quickly now. Ask her, ‘Is something wrong? Are you all right? Your husband? Your child?'”She said, “Everything’s fine.”

2 Kings 4:25-26 [MSG]

10-11 This is God’s Word on the subject: “As soon as Babylon’s seventy years are up and not a day before, I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. 12 “When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen. 13-14“When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. “Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.” God’s Decree. “I’ll turn things around for you. I’ll bring you back from all the countries into which I drove you”—God’s Decree—”bring you home to the place from which I sent you off into exile. You can count on it.

Jeremiah 29:10-14 [MSG]

Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.

Romans 8:26-28 [MSG]

I am Blessed
by Judy Ann

In the name of Jesus, I am blessed. My Lord, I delight in your law, and on your law I meditate day and night. I am like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever I do prospers. Jesus, you have been made unto me wisdom, righteousness and sanctification, and I enjoy living in the Way of Truth. Thank you, Lord, for watching over the way of the righteous. Amen

How well God must like you— you don’t hang out at Sin Saloon, you don’t slink along Dead-End Road,
you don’t go to Smart-Mouth College. 2-3 Instead you thrill to God’s Word,
——you chew on Scripture day and night.
You’re a tree replanted in Eden,
——bearing fresh fruit every month,
Never dropping a leaf,
——always in blossom.

4-5 You’re not at all like the wicked,
——who are mere windblown dust—
Without defense in court,
——unfit company for innocent people.

6 God charts the road you take.
The road they take is Skid Row.

Psalm 1:1-6 [AMP]

by Judy Ann

The Lord told me once, “Being under grace means being constantly under My supply. It means being conscious not of the need, demand or crisis, but of My supply to you.”

My friend, the essence of grace is supply. See yourself under His grace by seeing yourself under the waterfall of His supply. Do you need healing for your body today?

See the afflicted area surrounded by Jesus’ healing power and resurrection life! Do you need wisdom, favor or a specific provision? See His supply of all that you need flowing into every area of lack right now.

Because of the cross of Jesus, God’s grace is always supplying healing, protection, wisdom and provision to you. And the more you are conscious of it, the more you will walk in it!

The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

1 Corinthians 16:23 [AMP]

Come Boldly and Receive
by Judy Ann

Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].

Hebrews 4:16 [AMP]

God has made you righteous through the cross of Jesus so that you can always come boldly into His presence and find a throne of grace—not judgment.

Whether you’re believing God for healing in your body or for some other provision, you need to know that God has made you righteous in His sight. Why? It’s so that you can take up His invitation to come boldly, always expecting “to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need”, for the littlest to the most debilitating symptom in your body.

Today, come boldly to the One who loves you passionately and unconditionally. Come boldly to the One who knows every symptom in your body and who has the healing you need. He waits eagerly for you to draw boldly from His mercy and grace!

And, he does so with absolutely zero remembrance of your sins.

He then goes on to say, And their sins and their lawbreaking I will remember no more.

Hebrews 10:17 [AMP]

Do you believe that God does not remember your sins? This is a truth that our finite human minds struggle to comprehend.

How can an omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent God not remember our sins? An all-powerful, all-knowing, all-present God should rightly be able to remember every single detail of every sin that we have committed. But that’s not what the Word of God says.

God declares, “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” I believe that many believers are fearful to come close to God today and receive what they need from Him because they don’t believe that God truly remembers their sins no more.

Simply believe God’s Word, that through the provision of Jesus’ sacrifice, God indeed remembers your sins no more! Keep meditating on this precious truth and start living without the cloud of guilt, shame, condemnation and judgment over your head. Stand bold and righteous in Christ and expect to receive His best!

But there is one more thing you need to do. Once you have come to understand that God has amnesia when it comes to your sins, faults and failures… and when you embrace His loving invitation to receive from His throne of grace… you must be visilant to keep the devil from stealing what God has given to you.

The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

John 10:10 [AMP]

The Bible tells us clearly that God is a God of love, and our God of love is a good God! He is a God who longs to do good to His people. In fact, God desires to load His children with benefits every day (Psalm 68:19)!

My friend, don’t ever be mistaken that a good God will give you sicknesses, diseases and all sorts of physical afflictions. God is constant and constantly good. Sicknesses, on the other hand, are always bad. They are part of the curse. Their purpose is to destroy a person.

Our good God gave us His Son, Jesus, so that you may not be destroyed but have life, and have it more abundantly! The Lord does not take away your life. Instead, He gives, multiplies and restores to you life and health. The more you meditate on and believe His love and goodness toward you, the more you’ll walk in an increasing measure of His health, wholeness and abundant life!

by Judy Ann

Ask BIG. Dream BIG. Jesus will exceed ALL your expectations!

God’s supply of provision will always exceed your demand! He is such a BIG God, there is nothing He cannot do. Don’t look to the world to supply your lack. Look to Jesus, His ways & His supply that never fails.

“God can do anything, you know – far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it…by working within us, His Spirit deeply and gently within us.” – Ephesians 3:20 (The Message)
