Receive in 2017 the Power to get Wealth and Honor!

Focus on your blessings…Proverbs 3: 9-10 as a survivor of 2016! Many have expressed their frustrations with the past year.

For some, it was the death of so many celebrities that frustrated them. Granted, people die all the time… but for those in the public eye who are beloved by many, their passing is more poignant for many.

For those who lost a parent or child or other loved one, even more bittersweet. You, however, are blessed to be in the land of the living, so rejoice! Why? Because, in this new year, you have the power to receive wealth.

So, you are wondering… is the Powerhouse Ministry becoming a name it and claim it prosperity ministry? We are what we always have been, ministers of the good news (gospel) of grace through Jesus Christ.

For you are becoming progressively acquainted with and recognizing more strongly and clearly the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (His kindness, His gracious generosity, His undeserved favor and spiritual blessing), [in] that though He was [so very] rich, yet for your sakes He became [so very] poor, in order that by His poverty you might become enriched (abundantly supplied).

2 Corinthians 8:9 [AMPC]

Jesus did not come to destroy the law but, rather, to fulfill or complete it. And, what is one of the promises of the law?

But you shall remember [with profound respect] the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore (solemnly promised) to your fathers, as it is this day.

Deuteronomy 8:18 [AMP]

But you must remember the Lord your God, for it is He that gives you strength to make wealth, in order to establish His covenant which He swore to your forefathers, as it is this day.

Deuteronomy 8:18 [CJB]

The covenant, which is possessed by the Children of Abraham (the Jews, or, Israel) has been manifest from the days of the Bible until this day. Whether considering the Rothschild family of the 18th Century or the 21st Century success of Mark Zuckerberg… we see God’s covenant continuing within His chosen people.

A friend who is a member of the tribe told me of a Jewish family with a sick child. They immediately set up a $100-per-plate dinner to benefit the family. And, unlike similar events where I grew up (you had better have a big piece of chicken on that plate)… there was no plate.  There was no food. Just people giving from their heart to bless a sick child within their community.

What a lesson for all of us. Honor God with the wealth He has entrusted to you, and you will see great blessings in your life!

Honor God With Your Wealth

Yes, those under the Old Covenant continue to manifest the Blessing of the Lord. Consider, then, that those of us who are in Christ possess an even better covenant (with, we shall discover, even better blessings):

A New Covenant

7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion for a second one or an attempt to institute another one [the new covenant]. 8 However, God finds fault with them [showing its inadequacy] when He says,

“Behold, the days will come, says the Lord,
When I will make and ratify a new covenant
With the house of Israel and with the house of Judah;
9
Not like the covenant that I made with their fathers
On the day when I took them by the hand
To lead them out of the land of Egypt;
For they did not abide in My covenant,
And so I withdrew My favor and disregarded them, says the Lord.
10
“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
After those days, says the Lord:
I will imprint My laws upon their minds [even upon their innermost thoughts and understanding],
And engrave them upon their hearts [effecting their regeneration].
And I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.
11
“And it will not be [necessary] for each one to teach his fellow citizen,
Or each one his brother, saying, ‘Know [by experience, have knowledge of] the Lord,’
For all will know [Me by experience and have knowledge of] Me,
From the least to the greatest of them.
12
“For I will be merciful and gracious toward their wickedness,
And I will remember their sins no more.”

Hebrews 8:7-12 [AMP]

May we be mindful of the new and better covenant through the shed blood of Christ (our Messiah and Redeemer) Jesus. It is not based on works or sacrifices, but on His works and His sacrifice on the cross at Calvary. Our only work is to rest in Him and receive His blessings. Use His blessings to further the Kingdom of God on this earth until He returns.

And, this new covenant is not just for the seed of Abraham.

Genesis 12:3 [CJB]

All the families of the earth (both Jews and Gentiles) are blessed through Abraham. The birth of Christ, which we recently celebrated during this Christmas season, was the fulfillment of that promise. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we all have access to the blessings of God through His sacrifice on the cross.

So, stop making excuses and walk in wealth and honor!
