It has been a while since we have featured words of wisdom from our sister Judy Ann.
Do you find it hard to believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ?
The first time the English word “believe” appears in scripture is in Genesis 15:6 in which it says that Abraham “believed” and it was accounted to him as righteousness. In the Hebrew language the word translated “believed” means “to trust, support, confirm, be faithful to, uphold, to nourish”.
If you were to turn to the Book of Billie Holiday, you would read the following passage:
Now that we know who man was in the beginning, and how his soul became “lost” or separated from his life source through sin, we will begin our look into God’s wonderful plan of redemption.
We often face difficulties in life. Would you believe that Jesus Christ also faced difficulties? Obviously, He overcame all of His. You can too with the stuff He use! You see, the word Christ means Anointing. His anointing is available to us through His finished work on the cross.
We hear a lot about faith
This week, Pastor Jake helps us to increase our faith… the right way!
Is it true that we believe in an imaginary being that does not exist?
